The Queen is 90!
Thursday 21st April 2016
This week at Westdale, we have been celebrating the Queen's 90th Birthday. The children dressed in red, white and blue for the occasion! The children drew portraits of the queen and even designed a pair of Royal Knickers! The celebrations continued with the whole school enjoying a sunny picnic together outside.
Welcome back. We can't believe the Summer Term has come around already.
Class 3 have so much to look forward to this half term with our new topic Dinosaurs and we have loved looking at our dinosaur egg and our classroom which wasn't as tidy as we had left it! What happened?
Already the children have brought in books, fossils and different items which have been lovely to share. We also look forward to children bringing in their new home learning books with information about dinosaurs, art work or objects. For ideas for the book please see insert on the first page.
Welcome Back!
Happy New Year to you all! We hope you had a lovely Christmas Break.
The Children have settled into the new term really well and we have already been working hard. The new topic for this Term is 'Once Upon a Time' where we will be exploring lots of fabulous Traditional Tales. Please see the Topic Web below for this Term's work.
