Our Miniature Library

What is the Miniature Library?

The Miniature Library is a book swap area that can be used by groups in school, Bess the dog and for parents and children to use after school. It is stocked with books that children kindly donated and wrote messages in as well as other quality texts. The idea is that some books are hidden in old suitcases and drawers, providing awe and wonder. We used funding from the Co-Op Community Fund to support this development and we are hoping to buy even more quality texts in the future.

What is the vision?

Once things ease with the current situation, we hope to invite parents and carers in to swap books and enjoy the space. Soon we hope to extend this area out so we can invite more members of the community to join us and outside story tellers. This will then be big enough to fit whole classes in.
