House Teams

 

Our children are all put into 'House Teams' - Fire, Earth, Air and Water, when they get to Year 1 and Year 2. Our teachers are also allocated a house team and things can get very competitive in school!

 

Our lovely children are rewarded with house points for making the right choices throughout week, and are given a token to put into their house team pot. These are counted up every Friday and the winning team is announced in 'Magical Moments' assembly. The House Captain of each team then gets a big clap, cheer and a chance to lift the house cup! The winning colours of the house are tied to the cup for that week.

 

The culminative points are added up every half term with the winning house getting a special prize. This has included  amongst other things a visit from the ice cream van, an assault course, a party with a disco and a tea party. We always involve the children in how to celebrate their achievements!
