At Westdale, we truly believe in the power of books to take children on incredible journeys. A good story can whisk them away to far-off lands or even into the depths of their imagination. However, it’s equally essential for every child to turn the page and see themselves represented in those tales. Not just that, but learning about different cultures, people, and experiences helps broaden their horizons and fosters empathy. Embracing diversity and inclusion in literature not only enriches their reading experience but also helps them understand the vibrant world around them.
