Parent support

Every year in the autumn term, we invited the parents of foundation and year 1 parents into school to observe children participating in a phonics lesson with their teacher. This enables parents to see how we teach phonics to children just beginning their reading journey. 

Last year, these workshops were highly attended and parent feedback forms illustrated how helpful they found these sessions.
