Well we knew we had missed our children but their happy and smiling faces back in school have shown us just how much!

To those parents and carers of children who have just started this week and to those who have been with us for a while, your children have been an absolute credit to you all. We have been so impressed with their behaviour, listening skills and showing respect! We are just immensely proud of them all for coming into school independently and coping with this huge change.

We have started a timetable of learning as we feel structure will be good for them. All learning will be fun but they may be tired! We will go by the children each day and ease on or off as appropriate.

Well done to you all too for bringing your children to school, we know it was hard for some of you (which is completely natural as some of you have been glued together for ten weeks), it has been good for the children’s independence. To see them playing and chatting together albeit 2m apart, has been wonderful!

As always your child’s welfare and happiness, safety and health were at the forefront of our minds. We will continue to teach, to inspire, to care for, to support and be positive and happy for all your children.
